Sign In Help

Sign In Help

Autodesk provides a single sign-in account that enables you to sign in one time and use a single user ID and password to access multiple Autodesk websites. This simplified sign-in process makes it easier for you to remember and manage your account information.

Following are answers to common questions about single sign-in accounts:

User ID, Password, Security

1. I can’t remember my user ID.
If you can’t remember your user ID (the one you used to create your single sign-in account or the one Autodesk created from your combined accounts), go to the sign-in page of the site you wish to access, select “Forgot User ID?,” and enter your email address. You will receive an email with your user ID.

2. I followed the procedure to get my user ID but haven’t received an email.
Some email programs will automatically filter out the confirmation email, so check your Spam or Junkmail folders.

3. I can’t remember my password.
To get a password, you will first need your single sign-in account user ID and email address (see question #1). Once you have your user ID, go to the sign-in page of the site you wish to access, select “Forgot Password?,” and enter your user ID and email address. You will receive a temporary password after answering your security question.

4. I signed in using the temporary password, changed my password, and still can’t sign in.
If you aren’t able to sign in with your new password, wait a few minutes and try again.

5. I can’t remember my user ID or password.
Follow the “Forgot User ID?” and the “Forgot Password?” processes outlined in questions #1 and #3 above to retrieve account access information for both. You will have to follow each procedure separately. Start by retrieving your user ID. After providing the requested information, you will receive an email with your user ID. Use that user ID and follow the “Forgot Password?” process. You will receive an email with a temporary password.

6. I forgot my user ID and I don’t know what email address I used when I created my account.
If you forgot your user ID and you do not know the email address associated with your account, contact us for help updating your account information.

7. I can’t remember the answer to my security question.

8. How do I change my account information, such as user ID, password, and email address?
Each website (see question #11) includes a link to edit account information. Once you change your account information, the changes will be applied across all applicable websites. You won’t see these changes until the next time you sign in.

9. What is “Remember My User ID”?
When you check Remember My User ID, your user ID will be entered automatically each time you visit an Autodesk website that is associated with your single sign-in account.

Websites Using Single Sign In

10. Which websites can I access with my Autodesk single sign-in account?
You can access the following websites with an Autodesk single sign-in account:

* Access to this website requires a current Autodesk® Subscription contract.

Registering for a Single Sign-In Account

11. Once I register and create an Autodesk single sign-in account, do I need to re-register for each website?
No, you don’t need to re-register for each website. Your single sign-in account will enable you to access the applicable websites using the same user ID and password. Once you sign in, your signed-in state is maintained as you navigate among these websites. However, a signed-in session might time out after periods of inactivity.

Many of the individual websites also include additional site settings to configure preferences for features and functionality. These are separate from your Autodesk single sign-in account. In some cases, you will be required to add or choose additional settings to utilize the site; in other cases, it will suggest that you complete the additional information.

12. What are the minimum user ID and password requirements for my single sign-in account?
When creating your single sign-in account, the user ID must contain at least 6 characters, 1 capital letter, and 1 numeral.

Passwords must be 8-12 characters and include 1 capital letter and 1 numeral.

Autodesk Subscription Center

13. I notice that Subscription Center is listed as a site I can sign in to with a single sign-in account—does that mean I have an Autodesk Subscription contract?
Not necessarily, but it’s easy to check. Sign in to Subscription Center. When prompted, select Continue, and follow the steps by entering your product serial number to verify that your product is on Subscription and you are eligible for a Subscription Center account. For more information about verifying your eligibility for a Subscription Center account, review Signing in to Subscription Center. To learn how to access and use all of you Subscription benefits, please review the Subscription tutorials.

If you do not have a current Subscription contract and would like to learn more about the Subscription program, visit Autodesk Subscription. To purchase a Subscription, please contact your Autodesk Authorized Reseller.

Education Community

14. I’m having trouble logging into the Education Community?
If you have more than one Single Sign In account, please use the one you have used to activate your student software. If you don’t remember, please try logging in with a different account.

If none of your login ids work, it is possible that your account has expired. We invite you to register again.

For assistance please contact the Education Community Team by clicking I Have a Problem

15. What does “Keep Me Signed In” mean?
Keep Me Signed In is a Subscription-only feature that enables the system to remember your user ID and password so you don’t have to type it in again. See Keep Me Signed In for more information.
